Explore Fujifilm X-Mount Lenses with This Interactive Test Website

fujitestsite

Fujifilm has a new website that lets photographers “try” X-Mount lenses to see what they can do. It’s a lens simulator of sorts: select the lens, aperture, and focal length you want, and press the shutter button on the page. A sample photo will pop up showing what that combination of gear and settings would produce.

All the sample photographs are unedited JPEGs straight out of camera and show the same scene and were captured with a Fujifilm X-T1 during a photo shoot in November 2014. Each lens was used to capture a sample photo at each of its full f-stops and the different focal lengths available (about 3-4 of them for each zoom lens).

The website currently features fourteen X-mount lenses — all the lenses available for the system at the time of the test. Sample photos can also be saved to your virtual “Lightbox” so that you can compare different shots with different lenses and settings.
