Engagement Photographer Hides in Small Trashcan to Get the Perfect Candid Shot

If you want to get a great candid engagement shot, you have to be good at hiding. But how far would you go to get a great angle of a private engagement at a park without being seen? Canadian photographer Chance Faulkner was willing to go further than most… right into a tiny trashcan under a nearby tree.

To make sure he captured a truly candid moment and didn’t give away the proposal plan, Faulkner arrived at the Riverview Park & Zoo in Peterborough, Ontario early and climbed into a trashcan near the arranged spot.

Of course, after Adam got the yes from his new fianceĆ© Bailey, he couldn’t resist showing her where their photographer was hiding. Her reaction to the hiding spot is as good, if not better, than her reaction to the engagement:
