Video: Russian Cosmonaut Shows You How He Takes Self-Portraits in Space

You know those pictures of astronauts on the ISS, working away at some experiment or another while somebody else takes their picture? Well, somebody else might not have actually been involved.

As Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev shows you in the video above, taking a self-portrait in space is a whole lot easier than on Earth. No need to find a place to set the camera… just set the timer and ‘place’ the camera in the right spot in mid-air.

In the video’s description, he writes, “how to make a selfie in zero gravity,” but does it count as a selfie if you don’t have to use your hands?
