Nat Geo’s Amy Toensing On Vulnerability & Getting Out of Your Comfort Zone

Acclaimed photographer Amy Toensing recently sat down with National Geographic, for whom she is a frequent contributor, to talk about her craft and offer insights into the world of photojournalism.

It’s a short video and well-worth every second. Toensing talks about vulnerability, how important it is to get out of your comfort zone and how all of the other extraneous (and sometime infuriating) prep work is worth it for the very limited amount of time you actually get to go out and press the shutter.

Check out the video to get your dose of inspiration for the day, and then head over to the Nat Geo PROOF blog to find out more.
