An Intro to the Life & Work of World Press Photo-Winning Wildlife Photog Ingo Arndt

Multiple–time World Press Photo Winner Ingo Arndt has traveled the world shooting for the likes of Geo, National Geographic and BBC, all the while bringing in an arm-full of awards. And in the above video, DW gives us a brief look into some of his most recent works including Animal Architecture and Coastal Bears.

Since his birth in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in 1968, Arndt has spent a great deal of his time outside, enjoying the wilderness and nature. Throughout his career he has combined this love of the outdoors with his skill as a photographer to bring awareness to conservation efforts and show just how much the world has to offer in way of majestic scenes and amazing animals.

This four and a half minute video captures just a glimpse of Arndt and his endeavors, but it’s well worth it for the inspirational boost it’ll offer to the beginning of your week.
