Camera Plus AirSnap: Use One iOS Device to Remote Trigger Another

In the latest update for Camera Plus (not to be confused with the more popular Camera+), the development team has implemented a new feature called AirSnap. What AirSnap does is allow you to turn your iOS device into a remote control for another iOS device.

Using either Bluetooth or WiFi, you set one iOS device up to be the camera and the other to be the trigger. In doing so, the remote iOS device is capable of changing the settings and seeing exactly as the camera iOS device is.

It will likely be nothing more than a novelty for most, but it’s a unique ability nonetheless — remote live view and triggering isn’t something we thought would trickle down to the smartphone photography market. The app can be downloaded in the App Store for $1, so if you’re interested find a friend (or an old iOS device) and let us know what you think of it.
