On the weekend of the 18th, 23-year-old Annie ‘Kim’ Pham accidentally photobombed a group of strangers in front of a Santa Ana nightclub while out with her friends. That accident cost her her life, as the strangers converged on her and beat her to the point where she had to be put on life support before ultimately succumbing to her injuries one week ago yesterday.

According to the LA Times, Ms. Pham was out at the Santa Ana nightclub/restaurant the Crosby with two of her friends on Friday the 17th when, according to witnesses, she stepped in front of a camera as a group of people posed for a photo.

This led to a fight during which Pham was knocked to the ground where one of the attackers kicked her in the temple, knocking her unconscious. That’s when all of the attackers fled the scene.

Two suspects are currently in custody, one Vanesa Tapia Zavala, who claims she never hit Pham and is pleading not guilty to a murder charge, and another who has not been identified. Police are currently combing through several cell phone videos of the brawl in hopes of identifying all of the attackers.

Police are offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the beating.
