Many users may be up in arms over Instagram ads, but there’s little chance that uproar will stop Instagram from using them. Why, you ask? Because they’re working extremely well. According to CEO Kevin Systrom, a “very high” rate of 5% of ads are converting into likes.
“Are they making us hundreds of millions of dollars per day?” asked Systrom rhetorically. “No,” but that doesn’t mean they’re going anywhere. Plus, those hundreds of millions are likely on the way.
