Local TV station WGN made this beautiful tilt-shift time-lapse video of Chicago, giving us a neat miniature peek at what the “The Windy City” is like.

I can’t wait to see one of these that’s filmed with a real tilt-shift lens.

wow, even with the post-production tilt shift, that’s a pretty cool reel. Especially coming from WGN.  Their news team are goobers in the production sense so for them to do something even slightly tasteful and artistic is a surprise.

More needs to be done with this genre now. There is surely a story that would benefit from this tilt shift time lapse.

Please, what is tilt-shift, and are the images in this video real, or miniatures?

OK, I looked up tilt-shift. Got that. So are the images real? Enhanced in any way? They look too “nice” to be the real Chicago.
