You know you’re ballin’ as a photographer when you can use your lens collection to play a giant game of chess.

Will this chess game conclude the Nikon Vs Canon war?

    Money well spent.

Annoys me that these things go to waste. Just another way to show off needlessly. Do it if you want, but don’t post pics. Sometimes I don’t want pics to see if it happened.

Sometimes I hate people like this…

  • Ximenace

Don’t hate just because you can’t do this. These are high dollar, high value lenses. Whoever got these is showing off, but if he/she can afford it, more power to them.

For people who think this is someone’s personal collection, it’s not.  The business is Lensrentals, and this is just a fraction of their inventory.

  • parkher

They’re not going to waste. The lenses belong to a business that rents them out.

  • Syllogist

If anything, these lenses get more use and abuse than single-owner lenses anyway..

So that’s what the employees at LensRentals do in their spare time…

It’s a publicity stunt to sell their service! Pretty creative in my opinion, and obviously it has worked. Ah if only I had the money to buy even one of them…

Some would call it art… Not too different from photography. They both are art and use lenses…. lol

This type of thing doesn’t damage the lens at all so I can’t see how they are going to waste.

Super creative advertising, truly sparked interest and spreads the the word of their name.  Genius!
