Photo Necklaces for Serious Photo Geeks

We’ve seen camera shaped pendants before, but these new Camera Lingo Necklaces definitely take you into uncharted levels of geekiness. Each one has a “secret code word” that will be appreciated by other photo enthusiasts, but may befuddle ordinary, unenlightened (no pun intended) folk. They come in four colors and designs — JPEG, CR2, NEF, and a no-flash symbol — and cost $20 bucks each over at Photojojo.

The “flash” logo really needs help, it has two unnecessary support bars that clutter it and make it hard to decipher.

this is so lame. you guys need to lift your game.

    Not sure if serious…

That’s the ‘no flash’ logo, as in “I’m a pro and don’t use ma popup flash ya hear!”.

OK, that makes sense. It seems like the tiny logo on the cameras are better designed than that necklace. I think some cameras using that logo use different colors or breaks to make it easier to recognize.

I shoot Nikon, so I had to look up CR2… I was like, isn’t that a battery?? :)
