Giving Away a Tamron 18-270mm Lens

Update: This giveaway is now over. The winner was randomly selected and announced below.

Ready for another giveaway? We are. This week we’re giving away a Tamron AF18-270MM F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD lens for Canon, Nikon, and Sony DSLRs worth $650. This is the world’s smallest and lightest 15x zoom lens, and is designed for crop sensor cameras. If you have a full frame DSLR and win this contest, you’ll receive a substitute lens of equal value.

To enter this giveaway, all you need to do is:

Tell us the most recent photography related purchase you made

There are two ways to enter, and doing both methods will give you 2 entries in the contest, and thus double the chance the win!

  1. Leave your response as a comment on this post
  2. Tweet your response, and include the following link to this post anywhere in the tweet:

As long as the link appears in the tweet, you’ll be automatically entered in the contest.

Sorry, but this contest is only open to US residents, unless you’re willing to pay for the shipment of the camera overseas yourself. In that case, feel free to enter (though we don’t know how much shipping would cost right now). This contest will end Monday, April 11th, 2011. We’ll randomly pick a winner using and update this post. Good luck!

Update: This giveaway is now over. We received 1050 comment entries and 460 Tweet entries for 1510 entries overall. The randomly selected winner is…

my most recent photography-related post was a 50’s kodak twin lens reflex on ebay for 10 bucks–I think my dad had a similar, if not the same, model as a child. To my surprise it already included film with 7 exposures on it already. I want to develop it eventually. I haven’t bought a DSLR lens in over two years because my student budget just won’t allow it.
